My girl Bibi from the website « OMG! I love your hair » really had a « OMG ! I love that brunch » moment at Volup’thé. She is sharing her experience below 🙂
This past Sunday I was looking for a place to go “brunch-ing’” and I thought, « Oh it would be nice to try Le TOA brunch. I excitedly called the number and was sorely disappointed when I was informed that the brunch had been discontinued so I thought and ….thought of about a good spot to go to because I clearly intended to have brunch that Sunday !
A friend and I had met at Volup’thé in Deux plateaux a couple of weeks back but hadn’t eaten anything during their brunch special. So, I thought « perfect, I’ll just go there. » Their brunch literally changed my life; well actually their french toast changed my life: D
My friend and I ordered so much food we could barely finish it.
We got…
…the bread basket, which came with bread, two croissants, assorted flavored jellies and cream cheese and of course butter, my favorite.
…two freshly orange juices which were divine as well as hot chocolate.
…two omelettes which were customized, mine included onions, cheese and tomatoes.
Now, back to my favorite part, the french toast!
It was moist, divine and melted in your mouth and came with a side of vanilla ice cream.
One piece of advice: One could have easily ordered the french toast and omelette and been a completely full and satisfied foodie.
The portions for the french toast are huge and if I could have finished mine, I would have licked the plate, it was so good: D
